How does one master
Chief Architect Inc. software so that it becomes a real tool as opposed to an opponent?
1. Chief Architect is composed of Menus, Tool Icons, Commands, Help
Database, on line Manual, an Edit or Child window and Layout area.
2. If any of the above terms are not understood by you get them
understood, defined and demonstrated to you so that you know what
these are and what they enable you to do.
3. Set yourself a short period each day away from the demands of
your work and clients to devote to finding tools within Chief
Architect that you are interested in or wish to be able to use.
a. Read all available material that describes the tool or area of
interest that is provided in the Users Guide, manual and Help files,
making sure that any terms, words and symbols used to describe the
area of study, tool or facility are cleared up by looking up any
definitions and clearing those definitions by using the word as
defined in sentences that you make to demonstrate to yourself how
that term or word applies relative to the definition being learned
until you are sure you fully understand that word used that way,
then on to the next definition. This process gains you a full
conceptual understanding of the word. This IS what IQ tests measure
by the way - want to raise your IQ then increase your vocabulary!
This process DOES make you smarter and not just about Chief
Architect!
b. Apply what you have studied cleared up and read by using the tool
or facility for a few minutes until you have displayed to yourself
that you now know more about what you were in the dark about.
The above is a workable system for learning anything (study,
understand what you study and then apply what you studied). Make
Chief Architect "Your Tool" and then enjoy the creativity it places
at your fingertips!
